Bookings and journey management

You can carry out the vehicle reservation process easily through the doco application, but it is important to remember that payment and any additional procedures are carried out directly with our rent car partner Sixt, at their offices or by contacting +34 -871180192 or email clients@sixt.com.

Vehicles will be available for one hour from the scheduled pickup time. But we understand that sometimes it's not up to you to be on time, especially when you travel by plane. Therefore, we recommend that you send us the flight number when booking so that we can track it. If you do not inform us, we could rent your vehicle to someone else.

"You can pay with any of the internationally recognized credit and debit cards (*). But remember! We do not accept any type of prepaid card or cash payments. In addition, the payment method must be issued in the name of one of the drivers. (*) Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB and AirPlus, Amex BTA/iBTA"

You can modify your reservation through the Sixt website, with the email with which you made the reservation or with the reservation number that you have in your confirmation email. You can also modify it from the Sixt counter. Once your modification has been made, you will receive a confirmation email with the change to your reservation, but keep in mind that this update will not be reflected in the doco app.

Neither canceling the reservation nor showing up to pick up the vehicle have charges or penalties as long as you have chosen the option to pay at the time of picking up the vehicle.

 The lessee and the driver must present original documents of their driving license and identity card or passport at the time of delivery of the vehicle. On the other hand, driving licenses from non-EU member states (with the exception of Switzerland) are accepted in case:
a) No visa is registered in the passport
b) The client has a visa in his passport and at the time of rental has resided for a period of less than 6 months in Europe. If he has been residing in Europe for more than 6 months, he must present a driving license from an EU state.

Both the minimum age and the length of time of the driving license are subject to certain conditions, which will always depend on the vehicle reserved. But, in general, the minimum driver age is 18 years old and an extra fee will apply to drivers under 23 years old.

You can book motorcycles for 15 minutes.

In the case of motorcycle-sharing services, the booking is cancelled automatically and without any cost.

In the case of taxis, private-hire vehicles, Renfe, Telefèric de Montjuïc, Barcelona public transport and tourist bus it may involve the entire cost of the ticket or a penalty.

If you have already booked and purchased the transport services for a journey, you you have to cancel it in the ‘My journeys’ section and set up a new journey in order to choose a new one.

Remember that, at dōcō, we aim to offer you the routes that are best suited to your needs and you can make as many changes to your journey as you like before purchasing it.

You will be able to download the ticket for all the transport services you need from the ‘My journeys’ section.

In the ‘My journeys’ section, you will be able to find all the information relating to your past, current and future journeys and access your routes and tickets.

Yes, tickets for Renfe long-distance and medium-distance trains and the AVE can be saved in Passbook.

Well-prepared people get where they want to go. That’s why you can download your tickets and carry them on an alternative device or print them, if you think that you might run out of battery.

Yes, you can buy tickets for the people that are going to travel with you. And also for individual journeys in those cases where the booking is not in a particular person’s name. What you cannot do is hire any kind of vehicle for another person.

You will find the details of the pets policy for each transport service in the terms and conditions of the relevant mobility provider, as it is the providers who are responsible for each of the transport services.

In the ‘My journeys’ section you will be able to cancel the individual transport services that you have purchased. Depending on the terms of each mobility provider, cancellation fees may apply.

Whether you can cancel will depend on each mobility provider. The cancellation policy will appear at the time of payment.
