The dōcō app is now available on Google Play and the Apple Store and open to public to use, enabling to move "where" and "how" you want. In addition, in the coming days, docomobility.com will integrate the possibility to plan, book and pay tickets also from the website.

The opening of the app to general public is a key milestone in the gradual launch of dōcō, which actually began last November 16th exclusively for those people previously signed up as pioneers. Two weeks later, more than 2,000 people have already downloaded and used the app after receiving a personalized code with which they could start enjoying the service. 

The launch of dōcō has been possible thanks to the joint efforts of Renfe, NTT DATA and Siemens Mobility.  Each of them has contributed to develop this MaaS (Mobility as a Service) application. Likewise, the integration of mobility service providers has been essential for the launch of this digital mobility service. Currently, the app can be used to book and purchase services from Renfe, Movitaxi, Reby and Karhoo, offering different means of transport such as train, cab and electric scooter. 

The company Karhoo, by Mobilize, joins the app today integrating its cab services in more than 50 Spanish cities, offering more than 22,000 vehicles available to anyone to move within Spain. 

dōcō is a scalable project with a five-year action plan throughout which it is foreseen to develop additional features that will progressively improve the travel experience. Additionally, the integration of new partners will ensure enhanced coverage aiming to provide the maximum possible mobility offer to all people traveling nationwide. This will provide the Spanish mobility system with an accessible, inclusive and safe transport service by which anyone will be able to reach the desired destination in a simple and sustainable way.

Furthermore, dōcō has a customer service centre which has already been operational during the initial launch to pioneers. It will be available soon 24 hours a day to offer the best customer service when required.

dōcō also offers a planning service without any registration requirement, enabling to look up schedules, frequency and location of 37 public transport modes, in addition to the information and availability of the mobility partners mentioned above. All the information about these services and which means of transport the service includes can be found on the website, docomobility.com, in the Companies section. These functionalities are designed with the objective to accompany each person who travels and moves around on a daily basis. 

It should be noted that dōcō complies with the highest standards in terms of security and privacy, ensuring that all personal data processing that takes place within the framework of the platform is managed in accordance with the requirements of the RGPD and local data protection regulations.
